And what girl can resist such guys? Second. Yes, of course, the situation with the cage is controversial (very), but in light of those circumstances, this could be the only right decision. Albeit too radical. Okay, there’s no point in arguing too much (since I still don’t really like such measures, BUT NOT the behavior of the heroine), let’s better think about who to choose for our Forgetful Girl? It’s strange (for shojo anime, but of course not for video games, which is where the series comes from), but now the choice has been left to the viewer, making the most happy and open ending possible (for these events). It’s not in my rules to discuss handsome bishounens, but if I (yes, according to that very theory!) were presented with a given, specific choice... Joker.

How infuriating our lovely ladies are with the heroine’s sluggish reaction and “autistic behavior”! My dear ladies, we are looking at a JAPANESE girl, and not at your mental projections and psychological associations with the heroine. Would you at least bother to at least superficially go over the image of a classic (read ancient, not 21st century) Japanese woman. The backgrounds are decently drawn, let me tell you. Especially within the shojo genre. Because they really like to save on everything. Also the characters. Beautiful faces, interesting clothes, lots of roses. I like it, I love it all. Let at least the whole world drown in roses! But the music... Oh, it's simply divine! I don’t even really know how to put it into words (I’ll just say – this is complete IMHO, objectivity be damned!). Wonderful opening and ending, wonderful background music! Gorgeous! Definitely in the playlist. I was especially pleased with the photographer where the melody ends, with such a cute manic look full of love and hate, it’s just creepy! I even watched every ending theme, which happens to me less and less lately. Everything has somehow become boring!
Conclusion. I like it! And so much so that I even wanted to study the questions posed more deeply, understand the logic of the heroine’s behavior (I also learned along the way why OYASH’s nose bleeds during strong sexual arousal) and think about what would happen if everything was like this one way and not another (quite a tongue twister!). In general, simply, this series was watched at the right time and in the right mood (exactly after the mentioned Bioshock - the result is simply amazing! After the explosion, the brain flew a record 22.5 meters). As a result, I can say, not a masterpiece, but very, very good. A rather non-trivial beginning, complemented by general incomprehensibility and mystery, almost smoothly (it could have been better though) develops into a drama with elements. And even if there are controversial points, it’s still much better than something sugary, sometimes so kawaii that it literally blows your brain out with a shovel of rose petals...
Amnesia is ranked ninth on Shikimori's list of the best anime of 2013. The manga is written by Idea Factory and directed by Ohashi Yoshimitsu.
The anime was completely completed in 2013. You will be pleased with 12 episodes and one OVA, which will clarify the ending and, perhaps, change your opinion about the anime for the better.

The manga "Amnesia" has 2 volumes. Unfortunately, the translation of the second volume of Amnesia is incomplete. The anime is based on a visual novel of the same name, after playing which the viewer will better understand the intricate plot of the anime. The opening deserves special attention - a charming melody that sets the mood for the entire series. Drawing pleases the eye and heals the soul of the otaku.
Plot
The first of August is on the calendar. The main character, whose name we never learn, woke up in a cafe after losing consciousness. She soon realizes that all her memories are lost. And after a short period of time, the reason is found - the spirit Orion. He tried to get to Earth from another world and inadvertently hooked the heroine’s astral body, replacing the structure of her memories with himself. Different people talk to the girl every now and then, who clearly know more about her than she does about them. But the main difficulty in the process of memory restoration: no one should understand that she has amnesia, and going to the doctors, according to Orion, will not bring any benefit. When the heroine finds herself in stressful situations, fragments of memories return to her, but it is impossible to put together a whole picture from these fragments.
The second episode begins with a meeting in a cafe, where the girl, as it turns out, works. The manager organizes a common trip to unite the team. The heroine is overcome by doubts about whether it is worth participating in it, but Orion convinces the girl that this is a good chance to restore her memory. It's getting dark. All participants of the trip go to see the starfall.
The heroine lags behind a little and accidentally ends up alone with Shin. He asks her to answer one question, but the heroine is afraid that she will say something wrong. In addition, her only memory of Shin is not the most pleasant - the guy confesses to her that he killed a man. She runs away from him, but does not look at her feet, and falls off a cliff. This time the heroine woke up in the hospital, but on the calendar it was the first of August again. Shin comes to check on her. He kisses the heroine and takes her home. He also has the key to the apartment, Shin is very surprised that she forgot about it. Orion disappeared somewhere, but she remembers everything that happened after meeting him. For a moment, the heroine doubts whether he was a dream, and whether she is dreaming now, but then she convinces herself that everything that is happening is reality. The next day, Shin comes to her house again and after asking a few questions, he quickly realizes that she doesn’t remember anything. He tells her that they have been friends since childhood and have been dating for 3 months. Then Shin takes her to work. Everyone there, except her, remembers what happened. From the story of one of her waitress friends, the heroine understands that her memories of the trip do not coincide with the memories of the cafe workers. All the most interesting things are ahead.
Characters
Unusually, the characters of the secondary characters in Amnesia are developed much better than the character of the main character. Although the reason is obvious, many viewers did not like it.
Each hero has one card suit: Shin - hearts, Ikki - spades, Kent - clubs, Tom - diamonds. The most mysterious character of "Amnesia", Uka, got the role of the joker. These same card suits influence the plot branches in the game.

Heroine

Based on the heroine's actions in the present tense, we can say that she is kind and submissive. From the recollections of other characters in Amnesia, we can conclude that she was cheerful, sociable, and always tried to understand and support her friends. The heroine is the only one who can see the spirit of Orion.
Many viewers consider her too childish, even for the current situation, which is why she is ranked 5th in the ranking of "Most Useless Main Character" (according to Shikimori).
Orion
A mystical spirit that came from another world. He tries with all his might to help the main character regain her memory. Cheerful and naive, he often finds himself in awkward situations, but never loses heart. Orion himself says that he is still a very inexperienced spirit and has a lot to learn. Because of his clumsiness, the main character lost her memory - he accidentally crashed into her astral body. Although, as we learn at the end, their meeting was necessary. For all the characters in Amnesia, except the heroine, he is invisible.
Shin
Age: 18 years old.
Height: 179 cm.
The heroine's lover in one of the worlds. Purposefully preparing to enter university, he is in his third year of high school. The heroine's childhood friend, several years younger than her. Loves dogs very much. Shin understands amnesia, but it is very difficult for him to accept the fact that his girlfriend does not remember anything.
Ikki
Age: 22 years old.
Height: 182 cm.
He is a fourth-year student, the idol of all the girls who have seen him at least once (with the exception of the main character). Very good at all games, especially billiards and darts. His best friend is Kent. Ikki loves to solve the math problems he gives him. Hamster is his favorite animal.
Kent
Age: 25 years old.
Height: 190 cm.
Kent is studying for a master's degree, as he has already graduated from mathematics university. Does not like unclear formulations and quickly comes to the correct conclusions through logical reasoning. The whole world is watching from the sidelines, rational and collected. Kent is Ikki's close friend, they argue constantly, but always agree on the next course of action. As a researcher, he loves all animals. Having ruled out the option with aliens, he himself comes to the conclusion that the main character has amnesia. Kent doesn't know how to behave with girls because he tries to calculate everything using mathematical formulas.
Tom
Age: 20 years old.
Height: 181 cm.
She is a second year student. Childhood friends - Shin and the main character. He likes to sit at the computer, ride a bike, and plays basketball. He cooks well and reads a lot. He can be classified as a rare yandere guy, very caring and jealous. Sociable and carefree, he often acts like a child, but is merciless towards those who want to harm his loved ones.
Uke
Age: 24 years old.
Height: 185 cm.
A popular photographer, he took his first photograph in elementary school, having stolen his father’s camera. Because of the pain he experienced, he developed a second, bitter personality. Very talented, belongs to over 20 clubs, good at dancing, art, horse riding, debating and martial arts. Ukyo is madly in love with the main character.
Today I will introduce you to one cute anime that was released in March 2013. This is a good representative of such genres as “romance” and “harem”, but with an unusual presentation. And its name reveals everything from the very beginning...
☺ A little about the plot ☻
The title of this anime reveals an important plot point. Yes, there is a plot! It's bad, but it's there. But the meaning... well, where is it observed? So, let's return to the name “amnesia”. It precisely carries the entire main meaning of the entire work, because... This term refers to a disease with symptoms of memory loss, especially for recent important events, or incomplete memories of past events. 
Smoothly we creep to the plot. The main character, who woke up in an unknown cafe, lost all her memories until today, the first of August. Where was she and what was she doing here? At the same moment, a guy appears in front of her out of nowhere and introduces himself simply: “Orion, spirit.” 
Later it turns out that Orion is to blame for the girl’s memory loss, who, when the essence of existence changed, lingered in the soul of the main character and remained there (thus displacing some memories). She even forgot which of her realities. Oh, yes... I almost forgot... if she doesn’t restore her memory by communicating with others, she’ll simply die (she’ll forget how to breathe). in each of the worlds she has a different guy and she has to figure out where she belongs. ❋A little about the characters❋
So, our cute boys: Orion the Spirit, who is the cause of the heroine’s amnesia and it is he who helps her regain her memories. Not visible to other anime characters. 
Ukyo is a famous photographer. He belongs to many clubs: eventing, cheerleading, dance, lacrosse, rugby, art, riding, kabaddi, debate and about 15 others. Suffering from a split personality. Represents the Joker. 
Tom is a second year student at the university. He enjoys basketball, cycling and surfing the Internet. Likes to play video games, cook and read. He is a member of many clubs: football, radio broadcasting, archery and journalism. His favorite animals are people. A sweet and cuddly little man who cannot hurt (at first sight), but later his possessive nature is revealed. Represents the suit of diamonds. 
Kent A calm and reasonable guy. Already graduated from university and has a higher education. Likes to create various mathematical puzzles and observe the world around him from the outside. He loves all kinds of animals, as he just enjoys watching them. 
Ikki Fourth year university student. Likes to play darts, billiards and table tennis. Claims to be invincible in any game that requires sleight of hand. The canonical prince charming is on a white horse and, like any crown bearer, he is not particularly interested in what happens to his girlfriend. His favorite animal is a hamster. Represents the suit of spades. 
Shin is in his third year of high school and is working hard to prepare for university. His favorite animals are dogs. He enjoys playing card games and is a member of the athletics club. Doesn't always behave appropriately and sometimes causes confusion. Represents the suit of hearts.

Pictures dilute the text where necessary..
